Chirac, and voting no

As far as I can see, what Chirac actually says is that France will vote 'no' under all circumstances, not that it will veto the resolution in all circumstances, although the latter may well be implied. In any case, Chirac is very clear that the reason for the veto/no vote is that the inspectors haven't finished their job.
That looks fair to me. Sorry, George and Tony, but bollocks did France force you to go to war, nor did they advocate letting up the pressure on Saddam at all.
