One way to get to Blackwall would be by River Boat and the Emirates Airline Cable Car, which we'll do if there's demand for it, although it's perfectly walkable too.
We'll be meeting on Eastway Bridge at 11am here: (streetmap), (Google Maps). The nearest station is Hackney Wick on the London Overground, although it's walkable from Leyton on the Central Line, and there are buses to nearby roads from Hackney. If you use the postcode E9 5JD at TfL journey planner, it will get you close enough.
If you want to come on the walk, but aren't sure about finding us on the bridge, let me know, and I'll try to arrange to meet you at one of the nearby stations.
As with other Lea Valley walks, we'll be taking a picnic lunch and eating it somewhere on the way.
Looking forward to seeing some of you there.
